What Information We Collect

From employees, contractors and suppliers: Information will be relevant to their employment or services and will include name, address, contact details, past employment history, and where applicable, medical or health information relevant to their role. In some cases, we will ask for consent to acquire sensitive information such as background checks. We will not collect sensitive information without your consent except where permitted by law. We obtain personal information directly from the individual or from persons who have obtained it directly from the individual with their consent.


From customers: We collect personal information about individual customers so that we may provide pest control and termite inspection services across Western Sydney, including Penrith, the Blue Mountains, and Blacktown. The type of information collected may include name, address, contact details, information relevant to the service being requested, payment information, and where relevant, credit information.


We may also collect personal information from individuals who have acquired a property where Penrith Valley Pest Control has previously provided services, for the purpose of making the new owner aware of any manufacturer's warranties on products installed at that property.

This information is used solely for the purpose of scheduling, managing, and following up on pest control services. ServiceM8 is subject to its own privacy policy, which can be found at servicem8.com.


Contact Forms
Our website includes contact forms that allow you to send us enquiries directly. Information submitted through these forms (such as your name, phone number, email address, and the nature of your enquiry) is collected and used solely to respond to your request. This information may be stored within our website platform (WordPress/[your platform name]) and/or transferred into ServiceM8 for follow-up.

Customer job records, inspection reports, and treatment documentation are generally retained for a minimum of seven (7) years in accordance with standard business record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time, subject to any legal obligations we have to retain it.


Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You may request access to, or correction of, any personal information that Penrith Valley Pest Control holds about you, unless one of the exceptions under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies.
